You don’t meet people by accident.

They are meant to cross

your path for a reason.

Remember:

you never do the walk alone.

Who we are

Heads Up Fund

Twelve years ago, I lost my son Luka, after an unfair battle with a brain tumour.

For four years, he faced his illness with a strength that continues to inspire me every single day.

In his memory, I created the ‘Heads Up’ Fund — a way to honour his legacy

by supporting the scientific fight against brain tumours.

Through this fund, we hope to provide financial resources

to advance research and bring hope to families facing similar battles.

What we do

Fund for Brain Tumour Research

Heads Up represents hope and resilience, supporting groundbreaking research,

for instance into ‘dose painting’ and ‘motility trapping’ — innovative techniques

to improve the treatment of brain tumours in children and adults.

Dose painting

Key projects supported by Heads Up focus on innovative techniques to improve treatments.

Motility trapping

Another promising area of research is motility trapping, which aims to halt the movement of invasive cancer cells.
